Kohaku Garden: Privacy Policy

In short

• You do not need an account. We do not ask for your name, email or phone number.
• Your progress (ponds, stars, boosters and settings) is saved only on your phone.
• The game shows optional rewarded videos from Google AdMob. Google may collect some data for these ads, as explained below.
• We do not sell any data.

Data we collect ourselves

None. Owais Studios has no server for this game and receives no data from it. Your game progress stays in the app's own storage on your device. If you uninstall the game, this progress is deleted from the phone.

Ads: Google AdMob

Kohaku Garden uses Google AdMob to show rewarded videos only, and only when you choose one (for example to get more Undo, Hint or Turn). There are no banners and no pop-up ads between ponds.

To show, measure and protect these ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and use:

• your device's advertising ID and other device identifiers;
• device and app information, such as phone model, Android version, language, app version, crash logs and performance data;
• approximate location derived from your IP address;
• how you interact with ads (for example whether a video was watched).

Google uses this data for advertising, measurement (analytics) and fraud prevention, as described in Google's own policies. The data is sent over encrypted connections. See Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Your choices and consent

• In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game shows Google's consent form before ads can be personalised. You can change your choice at any time in the game under Settings → Privacy choices.
• You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your phone's settings (on most phones: Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
• You never have to watch an ad to keep playing. Ads are always optional.

Children

Kohaku Garden is made for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data deletion

We hold no data about you, so there is nothing to delete on our side. Uninstalling the game removes your saved progress from the phone. For data held by Google for ads, use your advertising ID settings or Google's controls linked above.

Changes to this policy

If the game starts to use data in a new way, we will update this page and the date at the top before that version is released.
